Using GetAccept Actions for HubSpot Workflows
HubSpot Workflows allow you to automate repetitive tasks and keep your sales process efficient. By embedding GetAccept actions directly into these workflows, you can automate document creation, Deal Room publishing, and more—saving your team time and ensuring consistency.
Prerequisites
Before using GetAccept actions in HubSpot Workflows, ensure that you:

Have GetAccept connected to HubSpot (see setup guide)

GetAccept Custom Actions for HubSpot Workflows
There are seven custom actions available:

Create Document – Creates a draft document in GetAccept linked to the HubSpot Deal. Visible in the GetAccept HubSpot integration.

Get Document Details – Fetches document details for use in later actions.

Send Document – Sends the document to up to two recipients linked to the HubSpot Deal.

Create Draft Deal Room – Creates a draft Deal Room linked to the HubSpot Deal. Not visible to participants until published.

Publish Deal Room – Publishes a Deal Room, making it externally available.

Add Participants to Deal Room – Adds HubSpot contacts linked to the Deal as participants in the Room.

Get Deal Room Details – Fetches Deal Room details for use in later actions.
Creating a Workflow with GetAccept Actions
Here’s an example workflow that creates a draft contract and sends it automatically.
1. Create a Workflow

In HubSpot, go to Automation > Workflows

Click Create workflow and select From scratch

Choose your trigger (e.g., Manually trigger only for testing)

Select the Deal object (currently, GetAccept only supports Deals)
2. Add the First Action: Create Document

Under Integrated apps, expand GetAccept

Select Create Document
-
Enter:
-
Document Name (you can use HubSpot properties)
-
Sender Email (must belong to an active GetAccept entity)

GetAccept Entity
-
Template to use for the document
-

Click Save
3. Add the Second Action: Get Document Details

Under Integrated apps, select Get Document Details

Enter:

Sender Email (same as before)
-
Entity (same as before)

Document property to use
-
Action outputs → Select Document ID or Document Name

Click Save
4. Add the Third Action: Send Document

Under Integrated apps, select Send Document
-
Enter:
-
Sender Email (same as before)

Entity (same as before)
-
Document → Select Contract ID from Get Document Details outputs

Click Save
5. Review & Publish

Review your workflow steps

Optionally, add a HubSpot note to the Deal when a contract is created or sent

Click Review and Publish
Your workflow will now create and send a GetAccept document automatically when triggered.
Limitations & FAQ

GetAccept actions are currently only supported for HubSpot’s Deal object. Support for additional objects is planned.

Recipients must be linked to the HubSpot Deal. Only two connected contacts are supported.
