Last updated: March 2023

Overview

This guide explains how to set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for Salesforce using a third-party identity provider. Once completed, your users will be able to log in to the GetAccept integration in Salesforce by authenticating via your chosen identity provider.

Step 1: Set up your third-party identity provider with GetAccept

If you haven’t already configured your identity provider with GetAccept, complete that step first. We have dedicated setup guides for the most common providers:

Follow the relevant guide to ensure your GetAccept entity is connected to your chosen provider.

Step 2: Enable SSO in Salesforce Setup

  1. In Salesforce, navigate to:
App Launcher → GetAccept Admin → Setup → Basic Settings

  2. Scroll down to the SSO Settings section at the bottom of the page.

  3. Enter your Entity ID into the SSO Entity ID field.

  4. Enable the SSO toggle to activate Single Sign-On.

  5. (Optional) Enforce SSO to ensure that users can only log in via your identity provider.

Once these steps are complete, your Salesforce users will authenticate to the GetAccept integration via your third-party identity provider.
